We proposed a method to precisely observe the cross-sectional profile of micro-processed polymer optical fibers and experimentally demonstrated its effectiveness.

Mr. Nakashima, who completed his master’s degree at our lab in March 2025, is the first author of this paper, which is the result of joint by Ritsumeikan University, Yokohama National University, Shibaura Institute of Technology, and National Tsing Hua University (Taiwan).
