Creating New Research Together
We welcome researchers and collaborators who are interested in exploring new possibilities in MEMS/NEMS, functional materials, semiconductor technologies, and related interdisciplinary fields.
The Yamane Laboratory provides opportunities for postdoctoral research, visiting research, collaborative projects, and research support activities.

Advanced research facilities support collaborative research among researchers with diverse expertise.
We collaborate with universities, research institutions, and companies both in Japan and abroad to conduct joint research that leverages our facilities, technologies, and expertise.

Postdoctoral Researchers & Fellowships
We welcome postdoctoral researchers who are interested in developing research in MEMS/NEMS, self-assembled electrets (SAEs), energy harvesting, sensors, CMOS-MEMS, resonators, and related areas.
Postdoctoral positions depend on the availability of research funding. Researchers who have their own funding or are planning to apply for external fellowships are particularly welcome to contact us.
One possible funding opportunity is the JSPS Postdoctoral Fellowship for Research in Japan, which supports international postdoctoral researchers conducting research in Japan. We are happy to discuss possible research plans with researchers who are considering applying for this or other fellowship programs.
When contacting us, please include a brief description of your research interests and your CV, together with information on your current or planned funding source.

Visiting Researchers & Collaborative Research
We welcome visiting researchers and collaborative research with universities, research institutes, and companies in Japan and abroad.
Our research spans MEMS/NEMS, functional materials, semiconductor integration, sensing, energy harvesting, resonators, modeling, and emerging intelligent microsystems. We are particularly interested in collaborations that combine complementary expertise in materials, devices, circuits, fabrication, measurement, and information processing.
Collaborative activities may include joint experiments, device fabrication, characterization, modeling, researcher exchanges, student exchanges, and joint publications.
If you are interested in exploring a possible collaboration, please feel free to contact us with a brief description of the research topic and potential areas of collaboration.
Research & Technical Support
Depending on ongoing projects and available funding, opportunities may arise for research or technical staff supporting device fabrication, experiments, measurement, data analysis, and laboratory operations.
Availability varies by project and period. Please contact us for current information.
